The company's policy and its objectives for Food Safety & Quality are expressed as follows: PLANKTON FIRST MON. S.A. is committed to designing, producing, and distributing Algae Products for the Food sector, fully compliant with specific specifications and requirements, to ensure the complete and continuous satisfaction of its customers. These products are quality-checked before delivery.
Through the harmonious cooperation of all involved parties (management, staff, partners, suppliers, customers through bilateral agreements on Food Safety), the successful completion of its work is ensured. The company is committed to communicating with all involved parties on Food Safety and Quality issues, as well as informing all interested parties about this policy.
Food safety, quality, and consistency lead the company to long-term benefits, which are always more important than short-term ones. To achieve the above, the company has installed and implements a Food Safety Management System & Quality Management System, which include all the company's processes.
The Management Systems are monitored, maintained, and improved through inspection, evaluation, and review programs. They are designed to emphasize prevention, without underestimating corrective action mechanisms when non-compliance with requirements is identified.
Additionally, the company ensures the professional competence of the Food Safety Team, the responsible personnel, and its external partners, who affect performance in Food Safety & Quality and the overall performance of the Management Systems.
The achievement of goals is accomplished with modern expertise, compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, compliance with market and competition conditions, employment of appropriately trained personnel, auxiliary functions, and provision of necessary resources (i.e., moral and material means), with continuous awareness and information on Food Safety and Quality issues. Specific goals for each function of the company are established and reviewed through Management Reviews.
All the above guarantee compliance with the requirements for Food Safety & Quality according to the standards ELOT EN ISO 22000:2018 & ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015, as well as the company's commitment to the continuous improvement of the Management Systems.
